Turnagain Times Tidbits

Now that Turnagain Times has passed into the annals of history, it’s appropriate to look back at its 20-year past after its final issue was published Nov. 3, 2017.

The following Tacos ad is from the third issue of the Turnagain Times, published July 2, 1998 on page 4. The ad was placed by the restaurant Tacos, which also featured a laundry in the back. What is interesting is that Coast Pizza’s current sign was repurposed from Tacos, which led to the sign being spelled coasT, which draws inquisitive questions to this day.
