Alyeska Resort

The Hotel Alyeska might be sleeping right now, as the resort is in the midst of its regular season closure, but much activity is in the wings. As soon as the doors reopen on Nov. 21, the resort will hit the ground running with holiday cheer and a new music line up.

If you haven’t hit up the seasonal Pond Steakhouse restaurant yet, you are going to want to get your family over there before it closes Dec. 1. This is a great place to take the family for dinner. It is open Fri.-Sat. from 5 p.m.–10 p.m. Menu options include Filet Mignon, New York Strip or Prime Rib paired with the sauce & side of your choice. The expansive salad bar and selection of appetizers offer a large variety. Remember, kids eat free, per paying adult.

The Spa at Alyeska is also introducing something new to its repertoire, an amazing new line of CBD treatments from Mary’s Nutritional. The CBD oils will be offered as an add-on treatment for massages. The Spa at Alyeska hasalso rolled out a new message, the Girdwood Chill. Hence the name, this relaxation massage is the ultimate in chill. A combination of CBD massage oils and compound work as a natural pain reliever, anti-inflammatory and stress reducer. The massage comes with a take-home sample of the CBD compound used in the treatment. To make an appointment call the Spa at (907) 754-2550.

Are you ready to eat, drink and be thankful? On Nov. 22, the Hotel Alyeska will present a Thanksgiving feast. Seatings are available from 1 p.m.–6 p.m. for this traditional holiday buffet with all the fixings. Some of the seating times may be sold out, please call for details. Pricing is adults $62.00, ages 4-12 $31.00, and 3 and under are FREE. These prices include gratuity and please note that full PRE-PAYMENT is required to guarantee your reservation.

While we wait for the Hotel Alyeska to open back up, let’s take a look at the Spring Music Line up for the Sitzmark Bar & Grill. If you see enough acts you like, you might consider adding a VIP Concert Package onto your Season Pass. The VIP Concert Package will include the New Year’s Eve concerts. There is a limited amount of these packages available.

Here we go: Hope Social Club for New Year’s Eve Dec. 28, 29,31; Great American Taxi Jan. 4-5; Clinton Fearon Jan. 18-19; North Mississippi Allstars February 14-16; Schools, Kimock, Joseph Feb. 21-23, Keller Williams Mar. 8-9; Leftover Salmon March 14-16; Green Leaf Rustlers April 4-6; and Mother Hips Apr. 11-13.
