Looking to clear out your freezer? AWCC needs meat donations. We graciously accept game, fish, red meat and poultry. Meat cannot be freezer burned, processed, smoked or seasoned. If you have questions, please contact us at info@alaskawildlife.org.

Chugach National Forest recently released the Draft Land Management Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) documents. Public Open Houses are scheduled in Sept. and Oct. as an opportunity for the public to meet with the Forest Supervisor and staff. Draft documents are available for 90-day public review Aug. 4-Nov. 1, 2018. Documents available at Chugach National Forest website fs.usda.gov/goto/chugach/planrevision

Public Open Houses are scheduled from 5:30-7 p.m. in the following locations:
Oct. 9 – Anchorage – USFS Supervisor’s Office
Oct. 11 – Valdez – PWS Community College
