Thank You Volunteers & Alyeska
Generous volunteers make our operation successful. FVCS Ski & Sports Swap October 12th ran like clockwork thanks to 80+ local volunteers, and FVCS could not pull off this important community event without the continuing support of Alyeska Resort and staff, especially Steve Bartholomew and Brian Burnett.

A special thank you to volunteer coaches Nicole Geils and Jenn Wellner for leading a three-day volleyball clinic to support the Girdwood Middle School volleyball team during the parent teacher conference days. It is through the generosity of volunteers and local donations that FVCS is able to provide scholarships, expand our program and provide enriching activities for Girdwood. Thank you.

Classes held this week and next, days and times vary.

Thursday Dec. 12th, times vary.

Holiday Cookie Decorating
The Bake Shop once again is hosting Holiday Cookie Decorating for local kids in early December. This is their 20th year of providing this fun class that is also a fundraiser for FVCS. Thank you to Isha and Brian Kari for keeping the tradition alive and supporting FVCS. Thursday Dec. 5th from 4-6 p.m.

Pie Making with Tommy O’Malley
This class filled up almost as soon as the class was put on-line. Add yourself to the waiting list in case another class becomes available. Tommy is a long FVCS supporter, as well as His Pie-ness (International Pie Champion).
