Born and raised in Oregon, I was taught how to thrive in the wild. Riding horses, hiking, swimming and playing every sport I could, I never stopped pushing myself. When I headed off to college my mother gifted me her manual Minolta camera and my love for photography was born. A few years later I helped start a publication and for the past decade that has been the outlet for my creativity.
Now in between wrestling matches and homework with my boys, I try and squeeze in time for painting. That and endless hiking keep me balanced. Every day that I get to spend in Alaska I feel blessed. The beauty and remoteness of its vast landscape are ever changing and I fall more and more in love with this state.
After living in several different cities throughout Alaska I now find myself in Girdwood and finally feel at home. I can’t wait to spend more time in this great city and hope to return the joy that I feel here to this great community.
