KMTA Biannual Grant Cycle – KMTA is accepting grant applications until Aug. 20. KMTA awards grants to community projects that recognize, preserve, and interpret the historic, scenic, and natural recreational resources and cultural landscapes of the Kenai Mountains-Turnagain Arm historic transportation corridor. KMTA 1st Annual Photography Contest – Photo submissions are due by Sept. 30. KMTA is seeking images that capture the essence of the KMTA National Heritage Area or speak to KMTA’s role in preserving, promoting and protecting the national heritage area.
